Submit your feedback to the Legislative Review Committee

The Legislative Review Committee (LRC) is seeking input from workers, employers, labour unions, industry and safety associations, key stakeholders, and interested Manitobans, to gain a thorough understanding of the issues.

We encourage persons or organizations who have an interest in workers compensation to read the Consultation Paper and to follow the links in the Paper to get more detailed information before they make submissions to us. The Paper and the links provide an overview of the issues that we have been asked to consider, as well as a description of the workers compensation system in Manitoba.

Your submission must relate to the Paper, and to ideas and recommendations to improve The Workers Compensation Act or the workers compensation system. The LRC cannot consider submissions about individual claims, employer accounts, or other Workers Compensation Board operational issues.

We encourage all participants to provide written submissions. They are the primary method through which the LRC will receive and assess input.

Spoken submissions will be accepted only in specific circumstances.

How to provide a written submission

We strongly encourage participants to submit their feedback in writing. Written submissions can be uploaded through the submit feedback feature below or by mail to PO Box 309, Station Main, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2H6. We ask that written submissions be limited to the equivalent of ten single-spaced pages. We will follow up on any areas that we feel require further investigation or discussion.
